Catholic Schools Week
January 25- 30, 2015
We have chosen to be a part of the HTIS community for various reasons, yet as I speak with parents, faculty, parishioners, pastors and associates the recurring words I hear are “our faith, our community and our educational excellence”. As a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence we take pride in the academic accomplishments of the students and faculty. We are recognized as a premier educational provider and a strong community.
The ideal educational community teaches the students to be intelligent and responsible citizens. HTIS is a Catholic school and our values, morals, faith based education and strong supportive Catholic families and parishes assist us in accomplishing that ideal. The HTIS student whether two or thirteen is taught to reach their highest potential, use their God given talents, and serve their school, Church and greater community. At HTIS we are in the unique situation of being able to learn to excel in academics and simultaneously learn to live a faith-filled life in a supportive and generous community.
During Catholic Schools Week please join us in celebrating Catholic education here at HTIS and all across the country. Be sure to come to the Open House on January 25 at both the HTIS Mountainside and Westfield Campuses and volunteer to help out with the service, educational and fun activities throughout the week. The Grandparents’/Special Persons’ Day on Friday, January 30 is a must attend event for every family.
Thank you for all you do to support Catholic education.
