Holy Trinity Interparochial School 2011 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence
October 8, 2015
It is joyful to watch as our many new and returning families settle into the new experiences at the beginning of the school year. Children are adjusting to a first time school experience, a new teacher, a class community and the routines and fun of being a member of a class. Parents are adjusting to leaving their children in the safe environment they chose for them, meeting other parents from the many communities we serve, volunteering to help with everything from lunch duty to Oktoberfest. Teachers are learning about their students, their strengths, growth areas, and their sense of humor. Everyone in this building walked in fresh on September 14 and are now enjoying the fun and excitement of being part of the school community. It is a process that I observe and participate in every year, yet it is always different and always exciting. By Back to School Night on Thursday, October 22 you will be amazed by how well the teachers know your children and dazzled by what they have already accomplished. Be sure to join us that evening.

Share the Good News
If you are pleased with Holy Trinity, we ask you to encourage your friends, family and neighbors to consider our school for their children. Included in today’s mail are two flyers to share with families who would like to tour or visit Holy Trinity Mountainside Campus. Please pass them along.
Read, Read, Read
Each month you will receive a list of books by an author or about a theme chosen by the staff. We want you to be reading at home and reinforcing what we do in the classroom. This month we are reading about Halloween, of course!
Protecting God’s Children
This Newark Archdiocesan program assists us in keeping children safe. You must complete all aspects of this program to volunteer at the school. We need you to complete this and we need you to volunteer, so thank you for your efforts in completing PGC.
Oktoberfest, November 1,2015, 1-4p.m. (Fall Fest)
This is a great community event. Look for more information in the weeks ahead and mark it on your calendar to come with your family and to volunteer an hour of your time to help.
