Holy Trinity Interparochial School 2011 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence
April 6, 2016
As spring brings us the good weather, very slowly, we are enjoying the Easter season and the signs of growth and life. Fr. Anthony Randazzo from Holy Trinity Church led us in a beautiful prayer service to celebrate Easter. He spoke to the children about how God listens to us using the book, Dear Pope Francis: The Pope Answers Letters from Children Around the World. The children prayed through song and each child received an Easter blessing with the Holy Water. The PreK-4 classes are adjusting the temperatures on the incubators and will be putting the duck eggs in as soon as they are stable. The ducks will be hatching in four weeks and the lessons in science will be very much alive in our classrooms. All of the classes will be hatching butterflies and planting seeds in the next month and of course, the community garden is better than ever this year. The beds are spruced up and waiting for seedlings from classes and families who are volunteering to help with the gardening. Deidre Kelly and Kaeley Hazard, two Mountainside Campus alums are working on the gardens as their St. Helen confirmation projects. For those of you with more of a literary interest we will be holding the Scholastic Book Fair on April 24-27. Please join in our Spring activities!

Trinity Rocks, April 15
Trinity Rocks is a major fundraiser for Holy Trinity School. The parents from both the Mountainside and Westfield Campuses enjoy a fun social evening and raise money to support the school operations. Please join us at the Westwood on Friday, April 15 and enjoy the HT community in supporting our students.
Middle States Accreditation
On April 24-27 the Middle States Accreditation Team will be visiting both campuses of Holy Trinity School to evaluate our two year self-study and meet with the staff to discuss their evaluation and recommendations. This is an essential function for HT to remain the vibrant and progressive educational school that it is. Thank you for your patience and support this month in accommodating our half day schedule on Wednesday, April 27 to allow the entire staff to participate in this important professional activity.
