November is a month that often challenges us to consider our responsibilities, gratitude for the dedication of others and being thankful for our many blessings. Election Day offers us the opportunity to fulfill our civic duty and participate in our democracy by voting. Voting takes time and energy to educate ourselves about the issues and then go to our polling place and cast our vote. We are blessed to be born into a democracy where we are able to participate and make civic choices. Veterans Day reminds us to be thankful to the people who have served throughout our country’s history to guarantee our freedoms.
Thanksgiving provides us with the special time to join with family and friends and celebrate God’s many gifts to us. Taking the time to turn to those we love and express our thanks allows each of us to slow down and reflect on how fortunate we are. So in between parades, football, turkey and plenty of fun be sure to bow your head and be thankful for all we have and all we are. May we all express our thanks for our many blessings and enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving.

You have asked me about the title of the book I cited at Back to School Night. Enjoy the read!
Thank You for Recommending HTS Mountainside Campus
I am always pleased to hear a prospective parent say that a current family recommended our Preschool and kindergarten and it happens often. Over the past few weeks many of you have referred friends and family and that is what keeps the school a vibrant close community. Please continue to spread the word about the Wee Ones Program, Observation Days this week and the November 16, Unique Creatures presentation which is open to friends and families.
Observation Days, November 8 and November 9
I hope you can come this week and spend a few minutes in your child’s class. I truly believe that the more you experience the talented faculty here at the HTS Mountainside Campus, the more impressed you will be. Be sure to have a cup of coffee before the November 8 observations.
